Zzzzzz....

Today was a really relaxing day. For almost the first time, I didn't have to set an alarm, and it was so nice! I still woke up around 8:30, and got started with updating my blog. As you can see, I finally got all caught up! It's a great feeling, and I'm going to try to keep it up to date.

Then I started working on my book again. I wrote a couple of pages and started a scene that I'm really excited about. I was pretty tired still, even though I had been able to not set my alarm. I was only going to lay down for about thirty minutes, but I woke up five hours later.

Then I decided to surprise my mom and give her a call! I had some money left on my Skype account that I'd put on to be able to call people in Scotland while I was planning my trip. She was very surprised when she picked up the phone, and almost didn't because she thought it was a solicitor. We had a great conversation, and it was great to be able to just talk to her and not be on Skype with my entire family at once. I love all of you guys, but sometimes I really need to just talk to me mom. I think all girls can say the same.

When we'd hung up, Amber and I went into my room and had a heart to heart, because we both needed it. It's kind of amazing how much we have in common, and she was a really good listener and gave good advice. It was also nice to hear more about her life and get to know her better. I love that I am getting to be really good friends with some of the people here and feel like I can really trust them.

I can't believe that I come home in two weeks! I'm excited to see my family again, but I don't really want to leave. I feel like London is my home now, and I never expected that.
